Step into an enchanting world of grace and romance with our one-hour Sweetest Day Waltz experience! Held in Jackson College’s spacious community rooms, this class is designed to celebrate the spirit of Sweetest Day by indulging couples in the timeless art of waltzing. Led by the Jackson School of the Arts expert instructor and assistant, couples will be guided through a series of graceful steps, learning the basic fundamental techniques of this classic dance. As the music sweeps you off your feet, you’ll twirl and glide across the floor in perfect harmony with your partner, creating unforgettable moments of connection and joy. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, this experience offers a delightful escape into the world of elegance and romance, making Sweetest Day truly unforgettable!
- When: Saturday, October 19, 5 pm – 6 pm (arrive by 4:45 pm).
- Location: Central Campus, Bert Walker Hall (BW) Room 144 & 145.
- Please arrive no later than 4:45 pm.
- Students are encouraged to bring tennis shoes to dance in.
