Role of the Practical Nurse

This course will review the ethical/legal responsibilities of the LPN along with the scope of practice of the LPN as defined by the Michigan Public Health Code. Issues related to types of health care organizations, LPN organizations, continuing education, and licensure will e covered. NCLEX-PN and licensure forms will be received with instructions regarding completion of forms as well as the testing/licensure process. Information on the search for employment and job-seeking skills will be included.
