Women's volleyball player to meet public at Nomad Bookhouse

Meet the players of the 2008 Jets women’s volleyball team when they visit the Nomad Bookhouse in Jackson from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15.

“We have an exciting season coming up for Jets volleyball,” said Coach Leigh Ann Swihart. “We have some great talent both new and returning this year, and our ladies can’t wait to start playing.”

Volleyball team members will play in a Grand Rapids Tournament Aug. 22 and 23, and an Owens Community College Tournament in Toledo, Ohio on Aug. 29 and 31.  They will play their first home match against Ancilla College at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 4 in the Victor Cuiss Fieldhouse.

Come out and meet the players and coaches at this special night at the Nomad Bookhouse!  The Nomad will be giving $1 off smoothies during this time.
