Hockey tryouts underway for JCC club team
Jackson Community College’s club hockey program is currently hosting tryouts for its team at the Optimist Ice Arena, 1300 W. North St., Jackson.
Tryouts will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, and again at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at the ice arena. Hockey is open to men or women who are full-time JCC students (enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester) and maintain a 2.0 grade point average.
