Solution Center

Welcome to the Solution Center at JC. The Solution Center serves as the front door to Information Technology.

Customer service is our first priority as we work to provide technical support and problem resolution, answer information technology related questions, communicate service maintenance and outages, and identity areas where our customers may require additional technology support and training opportunities.

The Solution Center is supported by Information Technology staff and our student consultants. Our Solution Center student consultants are knowledgeable in many areas of Information Technology and can resolve first-level technical problems as well as answer questions about our technology policies and the JC community.

We look forward to assisting students and employees with all of their JC technology related needs.

The JC Solution Center is committed to providing a knowledge-based support system to maintain client productivity. In fulfilling its mission, the JC Solution Center will:

  • provide information to assist clients with the completion of their work
  • identify knowledge needed to maintain client productivity
  • deliver knowledge-based support via web, email, or telephone

  Current Jackson College students, employees and retirees now have the ability to reset their password 24/7 without contacting the JC Solution Center for assistance by enrolling in JC's Self Service Reset Password Management service.

SSRPM allows those eligible for enrollment the ability to manage their network services account password which controls access to:
  • JC Computers
  • e-Services
  • JetNet Online Classes
  • Employee Email (Groupware)

memos and notices Jackson College Office 365 - JC Student Email Account


Jackson College students now have access to Microsoft Office 365! This means currently enrolled students can use collaboration and Office Suite tools, provided by Microsoft, online. Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype, etc. can be accessed anywhere online when logging into your JC Student Email account. This includes accessing Office Suite products on Windows, Android, and iOS devices.

Additionally, currently enrolled Jackson College students can install Microsoft Office on five personal devices for free, as well as access to 1TB of online storage space using Microsoft OneDrive.
