File Your 2009-10 FAFSA Now

If you are planning to attend college next Fall it’s time to file your FAFSA for next year. The 2009-10 FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Remember, if you (or your parents, if you are a dependent student) are required to file a 2008 federal income tax return, your tax return should be completed before filling out the FAFSA since this information must be included on the application.

The Department of Education strongly recommends filing online, since this process is much quicker and easier. To assist you in filing the FAFSA online, we have 2009-10 FAFSA on the Web Worksheets which are now available in the Financial Aid Office (Bert Walker Hall - 100L). You can access the FAFSA on the web worksheets online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. This worksheet lists the questions in the same order as they appear online which can be helpful as you prepare to file.

Please Note: The 2009-10 FAFSA on the Web Worksheet is not an official FAFSA and can not be submitted to the Department of Education for processing. This worksheet is merely a tool for your convenience and there is no requirement to use it.
