Andy Hosmer
Head coach Andy Hosmer is heading into his second season leading the Lady Jets Soccer program after a successful first campaign. The Jets posted a remarkable 9-5-1 record in their first season, including a 6 game unbeaten streak to finish the year. Despite the first season's success, Hosmer is looking to improve particularly in regional play as four of the five losses were to regional Community College opponents. "Our recruiting has gone well. All of the players we have coming in are high quality players and individuals both on and off the pitch; and some of them are nothing short of spectacular."
Hosmer continues to coach high school girls varsity soccer at Columbia Central High School, where he has posted a record of 102-45-6 over his 7 years at the helm. The Golden Eagles won back to back district titles in 2003/2004 and advanced to the regional title game in 2004. They also won a conference title in 2009. Hosmer also coached premier club for the Jackson area during 2003, 2004, 2005 and in 2004 his team placed at the top of their division.
Hosmer is married to his wife of 8 years, Rona, and has three children, Anna (7), Katy (4), and Andrew (3). He resides just a few miles from the College in Clarklake and works at Onsted Community Schools.
