Albion College JV (3-0)

JCC defeated Albion College JV 25-13, 25-15, 25-11.  Ashley Nugent had 12 kills, while Kelsey Hinkle added 7 kills and 2 aces.  The Jets are now 17-14 and will face Muskegon Community College Tuesday at home at 6:30.

Lake Michigan College (3-1)

The Lady Jets took home another win against Lake Michigan College 25-21, 22-25, 25-21, 25-21.  The Jets accumulated 12 aces, an effort lead by Kelsey Hinkle (5) and Ashley Nugent (3).  Nugent and Hinkle also racked up an impressive 24 kills a piece.  Alex Greene added 47 assists.  Nugent also dug up 32, while Cassandra Baker had 27 of the team's 105 digs.  The Jets are now 16-14 and 5-6 in the conference, tied for fourth.  JCC will battle with Albion College on Saturday at home at 10:00 am.

Lansing Community College (3-0)

The Lady Jets beat the Stars of Lansing Community College to advance to 15-4 overall and 4-6 in the conference.  Ashley Nugent had 11 kills, followed by 6 a piece from Emma Dickinson and Kelsey Hinkle.  Alex Green added 27 assists.  The Lady Jets travel to Lake Michigan College Thursday.

Kankakee Invitational (4-1)

The Lady Jets returned home with a 4-1 record from Kankakee.  Their only loss came from a 5 set match with Kankakee.  The Jets took second place and Ashley Nugent (73 kills and 4 aces) and Alex Green (198 assists and 3 aces) both made all tournament team.

The Jets are now 14-14, 3-6 and will face off with Lansing Community College Tuesday at home.

Muskegon Community College (0-3)

The Jets fell last night in a tough three set match.

The Jets will face Macomb and Rend Lake at home this Saturday.

Lake Michigan College (3-0)

The Lady Jets secured their first conference victory last night against Lake Michigan College 3-0.  Ashley Nugent had 10 kills, while Kelsey Hinkle and Jenna Bordeaux both had 8.  Alex Green had 26 assists and Emma Dickinson added 4 aces.  The Jets are now 7-9 and 1-3 in conference.  They will travel to Muskegon on Thursday.

Grand Rapids Community College (0-3)

Jackson lost to top ranked Grand Rapids in a close match 25-21, 25-22, 25-17.  The Lady Jets rose to the occasion with two injured players sidelined and athletes playing out of position.  Ashley Nugent had 10 kills, Kelsey Hinkle added 9, Alex Green had 21 assists.  The Jets will face LCC in Lansing on Thursday. They are now 6-8 on the season and 0-2 in conference play.

Kellogg Community College (2-3)

Jackson lost to Kellogg 19-25, 25-18, 25-22, 19-25, 10-15.  The Jets were plagued with errors and just could not recover against the Bruins.

Owens Invitational(3-4)

The Lady Jets faced some of the toughest competition in the nation this weekend and finishing 3-4.  The Jets started off playing the defending National Champions from Kishwaukee Community College, and fell in four games.  The Jets also lost to Oakland Community College, Parkland Community College(9), and Columbus State Community College.  They did manage to take some matches from St. Clair County Community College, Lakeland Community College and Sinclair Community College.  The Jets are now 6-6 and will start conference play at Kellogg Community College on Thursday.

Raider Invitational (3-2)

The Lady Jets came off 3-2 in their weekend opener, only falling to nationally ranked Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Owens Community College in two tough best out of three matches. (27-25, 14-25, 11-15 and 16-25, 25-23 and 13-15) The Jets rallied back on day two and Defeated Kellogg Community College, Mott Community College and Lansing Community College.  The Jets will travel to Owens this weekend for a three day tournament.
