JCC volleyball alum to play with New Mexico university
Jackson Community College is pleased to announce that Whitney Taylor, who played volleyball for two years with the Jets, has signed to play with the New Mexico Highlands University volleyball team for the coming 2009-’10 year.
Taylor, of Three Rivers, Mich., is a setter who received many honors during her time at JCC. She was a major player in the Jets’ 2008 berth in the NJCAA Region 12 Tournament, and was named to the Region 12 All-Tournament Team, the All-MCCAA Team and the All-West Division First Team.
