Men's basketball's Munz signs with Indiana Tech
Jackson Community College congratulates Jets men’s basketball forward Elliot Munz, who has signed to play basketball with the Warriors of Indiana Tech in the 2009-’10 academic year.
Munz, a sophomore from Saline, Mich., was named to the Michigan Community College Athletic Association All Star team and Second Team All-MCCAA Western Conference in the 2009 season. JCC coach Steve Finamore said, “I am so happy for Elliot. Not only is Indiana Tech getting a getting a good basketball player, they are also getting a solid student and an even better person off the court. He came to us with only one year of eligibility, and he came to practice and competed every single day. Elliott can shoot the ball well from the outside, finish strong and handle it as well. He made many key baskets for us and was instrumental in JCC winning seven conference games and making the playoffs. I wish him all the luck in the world. The Jets will miss him next season.”
Indiana Tech’s main campus is located in Fort Wayne, Ind.
