Women's soccer signs Port Huron player

Jackson Community College’s women’s soccer team recently signed Shelby Jordan of Port Huron to the 2009 team.

Jordan is a senior and played forward with the Port Huron Northern Huskies. She led her team in scoring as a junior, and was also a member of the Blue Water National Team club program that competed in Hawaii and California. She also participates in track and field.

Shelby is a rugged and aggressive forward who isn't afraid of physical play, and she has an instinct for scoring goals,” said Andy Hosmer, women’s soccer coach. “We are looking for her to combine those qualities with her natural speed and athleticism to put balls in the back of the net for us this season.”
