Manufacturing training for beginners to be offered

Jackson Community College, in cooperation with APICS, will soon begin offering training for entry-level manufacturing professionals as part of the Fundamentals of Materials and Operations Management program offered by the Business & Industry Support Center.

'Defending the Caveman' coming back to JCC

O'Chemistry science demo looks at '4 Molecules of Life'

Young people can get turned onto science and the elements that factor into life when Jackson Community College presents O'Chemistry 2007: The Four Molecules of Life, a free science demonstration at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 in the Michael Baughman Theatre, Potter Center.
Musical version of 'A Christmas Carol' a treat for young people

Young people and those young at heart will enjoy the musical interpretation of Charles Dickens' classic "A Christmas Carol," to be presented at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 in the Harold Sheffer Music Hall, Potter Center.
Winter registration to begin soon

Jackson Community College will begin registration for Winter semester soon; returning students may register online starting Nov. 19. In-person registration for new and returning students begins Monday, Nov. 26 at all locations.

Congratulations to JCC Jets women's cross country runner Alex Blair, who ran to a 15th place finish time of 18 minutes 4 seconds the National Junior College Athletic Association Championships in November, earning her All-American status.
