For Student Employees

JCC student employment provides financial assistance and professional experience for students. For general student employment inquiries, contact the Employment Specialist at 517.796.8468 or WeatherMelissaG@jccmi.edu.

Student Employment Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Dual-enrolled high school students are not eligible for student employment positions
  • Federal Work Study Award through Financial Aid
  • Participation in two (2) Student Employment Professional Development trainings per semester

Students who wish to work on-campus and who meet the minimum requirements should complete an online application. Once the application is completed, you may review positions by clicking the link below. Those positions listed with an Open status are currently hiring. If a particular open position appeals to you, use the contact information to get in touch with the department's supervisor and schedule an interview.
