In its simplest form, electronic commerce (eCommerce) is the term given to the buying and selling of products or services over the Internet. However, in it's more complex form it is an emerging field that encompasses many diverse areas: web marketing, social medias, search engine optimization, entrepreneurship, etc.  In addition, many opportunities exist for our diverse population and needs: hobbyists who want to sell their products online, web designers who want to design eCommerce sites for others, small businesses owners who want to expand their market on a global scale, managers of existing eCommerce sites who want to improve their Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and anyone who wants to be more efficient with mobile technologies and web communications!
